I enjoyed the afternoon in the park with my daughter and caught a cool pokemon in the process! She said this is a big deal and incredible and I should post it on reddit and no one would believe me. I ask her "is that a good one?" She yells yes, catch it! "OMG, dad, it's a charizard!!!" And starts flinging her finger across the screen of her phone yelling please please please. As soon as we're in the field she says hey, here's one.then she proceeds to flip out. We start riding and there's a big open field right there. So I said let's ride our bikes around the park, go down by the lake. We sat there and I caught two, a pidgey and a rat something. What's a pokestop? What are those balls you're throwing at the cute little animals? She's explaining and she said download it and play with me.
So we get to the park and I'm watching her and asking questions.
I figured it would be a great opportunity to spend some time with her. She asked if I would take her biking to a local park to play and I said sure.
